at 11. an arrest in the murder of 8 year old leila fowler. the suspect. her 12 year old brother. then. a man dead in antioch at the hands of police. we have the latest in the investigation. tonight. a suspect finally arrested in the calaveras county stabbing death of 8 year old leila fowler. police announced that the murder suspect is the victims 12 year old brother. we are not showing you video of the brother since he is afor the past 2 weeks police had been canvassing the neighborhood looking for any possible witnesses and

clues to a suspect. police said the brother reportedly found leila and said he saw a 6 foot tall suspect with gray hair leaving the scene. the home to analyze as possible weapons. today investigators went on to say that the case is would not make any further comment on the investigation at this time. authorities in antioch are investigating a fatal officer involved shooting that happened while police were serving a search warrant. concord police officers were conducting surveillance friday on a home on the 2700 block of barcelona circle. officials say a resident of that home, a 21-year-old male was suspected of selling drugs. during the surveillance, the suspect stepped out of the house and got into a car driven by another male. this is when officers say they attempted to serve the warrant. but the vehicle accelerated and rammed an occupied police vehicle. the suspect then ran from the car, and two officers, who feared for their safety, shot him. but neighbors say they don't understand why this had to happen. police say they attempted emergency life-saving measures, but the suspect died of his injuries. the second suspect driving the car has been arrested and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, which in this case was the car he was driving. the first ever bottle rock music festival continues in napa tonight. it features dozens of bands and thousands of screaming fans. the very latest on the festival. thousands showed up in the warm spring weather to see their favorite bands play on the fields of the napa county fairgrounds. several stages were set up to satisfy the hunger of the rock and roll fans on saturday. janes addiction was a big hit and the crowd went wild as the band played favorites from their long list of top

selling songs. while music was the main attraction, food and wine were jent. despite fears of major traffic jams and unruly behavior, there were little to incidents to report. organizers say they are happy with the way the first year has turned out so far and are already planning for next year's festival. i'm jeff bush in napa, kron four news. workers say enough is today, concession stand workers at a-t-and-t park today authorizing it's union to call for a 5-day strike. that's a plea from unite the union representing 800 concession stand workers at at&t park. workers have not received a raise since 2009. by a vote of 500 to 16. a strike has been authorized. the union is at the centerplate. the concession company subcontracted by the giants. workers want wage increases and, to maintain their unite here local 2 spokesperson nischit hedge says the union is in centerplate. the concession company subcontracted by the giants.she says workers want fair wage increases -- retroactive to 20-10. and workers want to maintain their healthcare coverage. gina antonini represents centerplate. and says the company is dissappointed by the vote. >>reporter: pacifica police are searching for this manaround midnight april 27th police say the suspect got into an de southbound highway 35 near hickey boulevard. both him and the driver of the other vehicle shopping center to exchange information. when the victim opened the glove compartment to get his paperwork, police say the suspect bludgeoned him in the face and head with the deck of a skateboard multiple times.leaving the victim with serious injuries. the suspect is described as a black man between 17 and 23 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with dark eyes, black hair and a slim build. police are also looking to question the passenger that was in the suspect's car. she's considered black, anywhere from 17 to 23 years old, with dark eyes, black hair and a chubby build. the getaway car is a blue 4 door sedan with minor to moderate damage on the driver side front quarter panel -- with silver paint transferred from the victim's car. in pacifica, alecia reid kron 4 news. sandy hook elementary school in newtown, connecticut is going to be torn down. the demolition comes nearly five months after the massacre of 20 children and six women. a 28-member task force has decided a new school will be built on the site. the vote on that was unanimous. the task force members received forty possible options for new building sites. they finally decided against moving or renovation, deciding instead to start anew. when it came to boston bombing suspect tamerlan tsarnaev, russia wasn't exactly forthcoming with the united states. tsarnaev sent text messages interest in joining a militant g. .butussia rat tthe

says it has decided not to close air traffic control towers all over the country. this decision comes two weeks after congress granted the f-a-a flexibility in dealing with the imposed budget cuts. now the 149 contractor run air traffic control towers will stay in business. the f-a-a is already ending controller furloughs and other measures that were imposed in france. coming up. the a's brought a five-game losing streak into today's game against the seattle mariners. could they beat the streak and win tonights game? find out the answer to that story when kron four news at eleven continues. heading into today's game the a's had a season-long five game losing streak. but that ended today as josh donaldson. daric barton and brandon moss each hit solo home runs to power the a's over the mariners four-to- three. jarrod parker pitched a no hitter into the fifth. but then he gave up a two-run homer. he continued to pitch into the seventh inning and then the a's powerful bullpen came in and closed the game out. the a's finish up the series with the mariners tomorrow before heading back home. madison bumgarner struck out a season high eleven batters over seven innings as the giants went on to beat the braves ten-to-one. the left hander only gave up four hits and two walks while snapping a string of four starts without a win. gregor blanco entered the game as a pinch hitter in the fifth inning and immediately hit a three run double to right center field. he added in a run scoring triple later in the game to give him a career high four r-b-i's. the giants finish up this four game series with the braves tomorrow. stephen curry is a game time decision for tomorrow's game four match-up between the warriors and spurs. he injured his left ankle in last nights 102-to-92 loss and did not participate in today's practice. x-rays on his ankle were negative and no m-r-i exam has been scheduled.
